01Body

  1. Cast on 160 sts on 6.5 mm needles.
  2. Join in the round, work 1×1 rib for 8 rows.
  3. Switch to 8 mm needles, continue in stockinette stitch in the round.
  4. Knit 78 rows = 53 cm to the underarms.
  5. Divide: 80 sts for back / 80 sts for front. Work flat in rows.

02Back

  1. Knit straight in stockinette for 42 rows = 26.5 cm.
  2. Bind off all sts (80).

03Front

  1. Knit straight for 34 rows.
  2. On row 35, place the center 26 sts on a holder (neckline).
  3. Continue each shoulder separately (27 sts each).

04Neckline shaping: left shoulder (27 sts → 24 sts)

  1. Row 35 (RS): knit to end (27 sts)
  2. Row 36 (WS): purl to end (27 sts)
  3. Row 37 (RS): bind off 1 st at neckline edge, knit to end → 26 sts
  4. Row 38 (WS): purl to end (26 sts)
  5. Row 39 (RS): bind off 1 st at neckline edge, knit to end → 25 sts
  6. Row 40 (WS): purl to end (25 sts)
  7. Row 41 (RS): bind off 1 st at neckline edge, knit to end → 24 sts
  8. Row 42 (WS): purl across and bind off all 24 sts

05Neckline shaping: right shoulder (27 sts → 24 sts)

  1. Row 35 (RS): knit to neckline edge (27 sts)
  2. Row 36 (WS): purl to neckline edge (27 sts)
  3. Row 37 (RS): knit to last st at neckline edge, bind off 1 st → 26 sts
  4. Row 38 (WS): purl to end (26 sts)
  5. Row 39 (RS): knit to last st at neckline edge, bind off 1 st → 25 sts
  6. Row 40 (WS): purl to end (25 sts)
  7. Row 41 (RS): knit to last st at neckline edge, bind off 1 st → 24 sts
  8. Row 42 (WS): purl across and bind off all 24 sts

06Shoulder seams

  1. Sew the shoulders using mattress stitch or grafting.

07Collar

  1. Pick up 78 sts around the neckline.
  2. Work 1×1 rib for 27 rows.
  3. Fold inward and stitch down on the WS (double collar).

08Sleeves (make 2)

  1. Pick up 46 sts around the armhole with 8 mm needles.
  2. Work stockinette in the round for 63 rows = ~39.5 cm.
  3. Row 64: switch to 6.5 mm needles, work 1×1 rib, decreasing evenly 6 sts (knit every 6th and 7th st together) → 40 sts remain.
  4. Rows 65–70: continue 1×1 rib without decreases.
  5. Bind off elastically.

09Flowers

  1. Crochet about 20 small flowers and sew them on in a random order.
